A drawing of Bookary in use: a laptop window with a “Continue reading” row at 38 per cent and a shelf of cloth-bound covers, beside a phone showing the opening page of Pride and Prejudice.
Upload your EPUB, PDF and comic files. Read them in any browser, pick up on another device right where you left off, or send a copy to your Kindle.

The features
Your comics live on the same shelf as your books, and open page by page in the same reader.
Open it on a phone, a tablet or a laptop. Add it to your home screen if you would rather tap an icon.
Your place in every book is saved as you read, so any device you sign in on opens it right where you left off.
The files you own — EPUB, PDF, MOBI, AZW3, CBZ or CBR — open here, and every original is kept exactly as it arrived.
Send any book to your Kindle address from its menu — and if your Kindle cannot open the file, Bookary tells you how to convert it first.
Type size, line spacing and a theme are yours to set, kept on your account so every device reads the way you like it.
Drop in the files from your device. Each one is prepared to open in a browser.
Open the next device and the book is on the page you stopped at.
From a book’s menu, send it to your Kindle’s address. If the file is one a Kindle cannot open, you are told which conversion to run first.
Ownership
The file you upload is stored exactly as it arrived, and you can download it again whenever you like — one book, or your whole library as one zip with its shelves, reading positions and highlights.
How your files are storedGo over a limit and your next upload is refused until you make room or move up; nothing you have already stored is ever deleted.
What happens at a limitYour files travel straight to storage when you upload them, rather than through the app’s servers on the way.
The plans
Both plans read the same. What a plan buys you is room — how many books you can keep and how much space they take.
Pro is not open for sign-ups yet. Everything an account gets today is on the Free plan, and it costs nothing.
Alpha
Bookary is in alpha. What its testers report shapes what gets fixed and what gets built next.
